2005 - The Year in Review...

Talk of Des Moines Toastmasters was active in the community in 2005. In September, we conducted a public speaking class through the Des Moines Community Education program entitled Speechcraft. Speechcraft is a program designed by Toastmasters International to provide instruction and practice in public speaking skills. Six participants started the program and on October 13 four were presented their certificates of completion. (View Photos)

On October 2nd, we participated in the Future Business Leaders of America Fall Conference. Several members from Talk of Des Moines Toastmasters conducted two hour long break out sessions on the importance of good speaking skills.
