Leadership Roles

At the heart of any club is its Executive Committee who: set the club standards and goals; regularly revisit those goals; and ensure successful achievement. Members of the Executive Committee are elected once a year and serve from July 1 - June 30. The Executive Committee meets once a month in an effort to continually communicate the club's standing.

Toastmasters is an internationally recognized organization. Holding an office at the local club level can enhance your own portfolio for future leadership positions, either within Toastmasters or in your own personal life.

In February, 2006 Tom Lu took over responsibility for organizing our 8-week schedule. In doing so, Tom is assuming one of the responsibilities of the Vice President of Education.

Andrea_VPMbr On November 9th, 2005, Andrea Jones was elected to the office of Vice-President of Membership.  Andrea is a valuable addition to our Executive Commitee.   The other members of the Executive Commitee are shown below from left to right (Carole Stevens, Bessie Parker, Paul Freeman, Brett DeBruyn, Bob Vipond, and Anne Sexton).
